JUDITH KATZ
Judith Katz specializes in eminent domain and complex real estate
litigation. She has represented New York State agencies in condemnation
actions including the Metropolitan Transit Authority, the Dormitory
Authority of the State of New York, and the Empire State Development
Corporation. Ms. Katz has extensive experience with land lease arbitrations
and appraisal proceedings and has litigated actions involving condominium
offerings, partnership accounting disputes, restrictive covenants,
and breach of contract. Additionally, she has practiced general
commercial litigation in the federal and state courts including
securities and employment law.
Prior to joining Berger & Webb, Ms. Katz worked in-house for
Internet, media and entertainment companies where she was responsible
for legal and business affairs. She also practiced at Rosenman &
Colin LLP.
Ms. Katz is a graduate of Boston University School of Law (J.D.)
and Columbia University (B.A.). She is admitted to the bars of New
York, New Jersey and Washington D.C. Ms. Katz is a member of the
Condemnation and Tax Certiorari Committee of the Association of
the Bar of the City of New York and a member of the Association
of Real Estate Women.
