Judy Katz is a partner of Berger & Webb and a member of the firm’s condemnation practice group, specializing in eminent domain and complex real estate litigation.
Ms. Katz represents various New York State agencies in condemnation actions, and she has extensive experience with land lease arbitrations and appraisal proceedings. She also has experience litigating actions involving partnership accounting disputes, restrictive covenants, securities law and breach of contract. Prior to joining Berger & Webb, Ms. Katz worked as in-house counsel for Internet, media and entertainment companies where she was responsible for legal and business affairs.
Ms. Katz is admitted to practice in New York, New Jersey and Washington D.C., and before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey. She is a member of the Condemnation Committee of the New York County Lawyers’ Association, the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and the Association of Real Estate Women.
